7 - 7 (2) While conducting the reconnaissance, the compromised element returns a sufficient volume of fire to allow them to break contact. Surveillance can fire an AT 4 at the largest weapon on the objective. All elements pull off the objective and move to the release point. The senior man quickly accounts for all personnel and return to the ORP. Once in the ORP, leadership follows the procedures previously described. Figure 7-3 shows the critical tasks for a patrol.
