I have worked on the Network Management Software as well as the network side protocol stacks. I was the manager and technical lead for the network management team, consisting of 30+ engineers, as well as an individual contributor. Ensemble Communications Software Manager 1999 - 2003 (4 years) Ensemble was a startup in the wireless broadband space in the LMDS space (pre-WiMax). I filled various roles in the organization.The first challenge handed to me was to design a best in class failure protection system - one accepted to US Telcos, which require recovery within 50 milliseconds to prevent service interruption. I had primary responsibility for the design and development of this system, which was completed within 9 months and under budget. I subsequently led the development of the CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) and ramped it up so that it could support 100Mbps over wireless. I worked at Ensemble till about 3 months before it closed.
