41 The association’s purpose is to promote interest in and understanding of the STEM subjects of science, technology, engineering and mathematics among children and adolescents. The BMW Group plant in Regensburg has been a member of the association since 2021 and is actively involved in shaping the programme. Young participants have access to workshops, experiments and projects to gain practical experience in STEM topics. Each year, around 3,000 children and their teachers take part in the association’s activities.
