5-8 FUEL SYSTEM AND THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL • Remove the fuel tank. (5-3) • Remove the fuel pump assembly 1 by removing its mounting bolts diagonally.  Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. Keep heat, spark and flame away. • Remove the nuts. • Remove the lead wire 1, screws and fuel level gauge 2.
