NOTE: The stamped marks A on the cushion rod should be face out- side. • Remount the chain cases 1 chain buffer 2 and rear fender 3. INSTALLATION E Install the swingarm in the reverse order of disassembly and L removal, and pay attention to the following points. P SWINGARM PIVOT THRUST CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT Adjust swingarm pivot thrust clearance in the following procedure. • Insert the swingarm pivot shaft and tighten to the specified M torque. A 09944-28320: Hexagon socket (19 mm) S Swingarm pivot shaft: 15 N·m (1.5 kgf-m, 11.0 lb-ft) • Hold the swingarm pivot shaft and tighten the swingarm pivot nut 1 to the specified torque. Swingarm pivot nut: 100 N·m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 lb-ft) • Tighten the swingarm pivot lock-nut to the specified torque with the special tool. 09940-14940: Swingarm pivot thrust adjuster socket wrench Swingarm pivot lock-nut: 90 N·m (9.0 kgf-m, 65.0 lb-ft)
