6-14 EXHAUST SYSTEM • Remove the EXCV cover 3 and disconnect the two cables from the EXCV pulley. EXCV INSPECTION • Turn the EXCV by hand and check that it moves smoothly. • If it does not move smoothly, replace the EXCV together with the muffler body. • Decarbonize the EXCV if necessary.  * Do not attempt to disassemble the EXCV. * The EXCV is available only as the muffler body assembly. E EXCV/MUFFLER INSTALLATION L • Connect the EXCV cables temporarily to the EXCV pulley.P • Adjust the clearance A between the adjuster end and EXCV pulley to provide 3 mm (0.12 in) and more. M • Adjust the inner cable length of the No.2 cable. (6-9) • Install the EXCV cover.
