3-10 ENGINE • Remove the engine mounting nut 6. • Loosen the engine mounting thrust adjuster lock-nut 7 with the special tool. • Loosen the engine mounting thrust adjuster 8. 09940-14990: Engine mounting thrust adjuster socket wrench NOTE: Do not remove the engine mounting bolts at this stage. • Remove the engine mounting bolts and gradually lower the front side of the engine. Then, take off the drive chain from the E driveshaft. L • Remove the engine assembly. P ENGINE INSTALLATION M Install the engine in the reverse order of engine removal.
